Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 August 2026

This policy explains how SIA MAZZME ("MAZZME", "we") collects and uses personal data when you visit mazzme.com, place an order, subscribe, or contact us. We are the data controller: SIA MAZZME, registration number 40203765652, Ezermalas iela 27-24, Rīga, LV-1014, Latvia, support@mazzme.com.

1. What data we collect

  • Identity and contact data: name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address.
  • Order data: products purchased, order history, subscription details, deliveries and returns.
  • Payment data: payment method and transaction details. Card numbers are processed by our payment providers and are never stored by us.
  • Account data: login details and preferences, if you create a customer account.
  • Communications: messages you send us and reviews you submit.
  • Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and referral source, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 6).

2. Why we use your data and on what legal basis

  • To process and deliver your order, manage your subscription, handle returns and provide customer support — performance of a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To comply with accounting, tax and consumer law obligations — legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c)).
  • To prevent fraud, keep the Store secure and establish or defend legal claims — our legitimate interests (art. 6(1)(f)).
  • To send you marketing emails — your consent (art. 6(1)(a)), or our legitimate interest in informing existing customers about similar products. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link.
  • To measure and improve the Store and to run advertising on platforms such as Meta and TikTok — your consent, given through the cookie banner.

3. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, and only as needed to run the Store:

  • Shopify (store hosting, checkout, customer accounts) — Shopify International Ltd. (Ireland) and Shopify Inc. (Canada).
  • Payment providers: Shopify Payments (operated by Stripe) and the other payment methods shown at checkout, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal.
  • Subscription management: Loop Subscriptions.
  • Fulfilment partners and postal carriers, who receive your name, address, phone number and email for delivery.
  • Email tools used to send order notifications and, with your consent, newsletters.
  • Advertising and analytics platforms (Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel), only with your cookie consent.
  • Accountants, legal advisers and public authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. International transfers

Some providers process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States or Canada. Where this happens we rely on a European Commission adequacy decision (including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified companies) or on the Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep your data

  • Order, invoice and payment records: for the period required by Latvian accounting law (currently five years after the end of the financial year).
  • Customer account and subscription data: while your account or subscription is active and for up to three years after your last order, unless a longer period is needed to handle a claim.
  • Marketing consent: until you withdraw it.
  • Support correspondence: up to three years.
  • Analytics and advertising cookies: for the periods shown in the cookie settings, typically up to 13 months.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies (cart, checkout, security), which do not require consent, and — only with your consent — analytics and advertising cookies (Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel). You can accept, decline or change your choices in the cookie banner at any time and in your browser settings. Declining does not affect your ability to shop.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise your rights, email support@mazzme.com. We may ask you to verify your identity and will respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija, www.dvi.gov.lv) or the data protection authority in your own country.

8. Security

The Store runs on Shopify's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure and all data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Access to personal data is limited to staff and providers who need it to perform their tasks.

9. Children

The Store and our products are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time; the current version is always available on this page. Questions: SIA MAZZME, Ezermalas iela 27-24, Rīga, LV-1014, Latvia, support@mazzme.com.
